Job summary

White Stuff, a UK retailer with a growing international presence, seeks an Ecommerce Trading Manager to drive demand and profitability across all websites. You will translate trading data and customer insights into actions that optimize product presentation, pricing, and on-site activity.

You will lead a cross-functional team within a fast-paced retail environment, aligning digital marketing, optimization, and merchandising with business priorities and launches.

Qualifications

• Proven Ecommerce trading/management experience in fashion, lifestyle or retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting demand and revenue targets.
• Experience owning and reporting Ecommerce KPIs: conversion, AOV, sessions, demand and margin.
• Solid on-site merchandising understanding, including algorithm-based and manual rules.

Responsibilities

• Own weekly and seasonal trading plan; react to performance with timely interventions.
• Develop daily budget phasing across KPIs.
• Report on daily/weekly/monthly performance with clear commentary.
• Forecast revisions and share unit forecasts with the DC.
• Monitor competitor activity and on-site trends; make actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing to align campaigns with trading priorities.
• Build and prioritise on-site testing roadmap using trading insights.
• Coordinate with Buying & Merchandising on stock priorities.
• Work with creative on assets; prioritise commercial opportunities.
• Ensure websites are up-to-date; coordinate new product launches.
• Partner with Customer team to hit customer acquisition and retention targets.
• Develop merchandising strategy blending visual merchandising with rules.
