Job summary

Zachary Daniels partners with a fast-growing, digitally led ecommerce business in the North West to appoint its first Chief Technology Officer. This pivotal hire joins the senior leadership team to shape the technology vision that will drive the next stage of growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will own the full technology function, delivering a scalable, customer-first digital experience across platform, data, infrastructure and engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven senior tech leader with ecommerce/d2c experience.
• Track record of scaling platforms and teams during growth.
• Deep understanding of modern ecommerce architecture and cloud infra.
• Commercially minded tech leader with board-level credibility.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute technology strategy aligned with business roadmap.
• Build and lead engineering, product and data teams (in-house + partners).
• Own ecommerce platform and tech stack; optimize build/buy decisions.
• Drive conversion, performance, and customer experience via data and experimentation.
• Embed AI and automation across customer journey and operations.
