We’re on the hunt for an organised, proactive Ecommerce Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our online store and digital marketing – helping us grow our much-loved playmat brand, gus + beau.

You’ll be reporting directly to our founder, Liz, and playing a key role in keeping our website looking beautiful, our emails landing on time, and our content consistent across channels. If you’re a detail-oriented doer with Shopify experience, a good eye for design, and a love of stylish, well-designed children’s products – we’d love to hear from you.

The hours are flexible – parents can work around school runs, nap times or nursery days. As long as the work gets done, you’re free to structure the week however suits you best.

What you’ll be doing:

Shopify management – update product listings, images, homepage and collections

UX improvements – support with tweaks to navigation, layout and customer journeys

Marketing calendar – help plan and schedule campaigns across email, blog and Instagram

Email marketing – build and send emails in Klaviyo (flows and campaigns)

Blog – write and upload short, engaging blog posts in our brand voice

Instagram – create and schedule posts using approved visuals and copy

Photoshoot management – help plan and coordinate brand shoots, liaise with photographers, select final imagery

Content creator management – liaise with influencers and creators, manage gifting, track content and usage

Customer service - assist with responding to customer queries

You’ll need:

Experience with Shopify – essential

Familiarity with Klaviyo – a big plus

Excellent written English and attention to detail

A proactive attitude – happy to ask questions, suggest ideas and get stuck in

Comfort working remotely and independently with clear deadlines

Interest in baby/parenting/lifestyle brands is a bonus
