Job summary

Forwardrole is partnering with a household-name UK food retailer to recruit an Ecommerce Executive for the Deeside HQ. This hands-on role anchors the online team with four days in the office, focusing on product listings, promotions and keeping the storefront fresh and commercially sharp.

You’ll manage listings, campaigns, banners and content, and analyze sales and customer data to drive trends and informed stock decisions. Collaboration with buying, marketing and IT is key.

Responsibilities

• Product management – update listings, manage inventory with ranges and supply chain teams
• Campaign execution – coordinate online promotions using trends and competitor insight
• Content and merchandising – refresh banners, product descriptions and site content
• Data analysis – review sales and customer behavior to spot trends
• Sales and performance monitoring – track category performance and inform stock decisions
• Cross-functional collaboration – work with buying on product selection and pricing
• Channel optimisation – coordinate with marketing to drive traffic via email, social, affiliates
• IT liaison – flag site or system issues to the development team

About the role

This is a hands-on role at the heart of a fast-moving online business, supporting the day-to-day running of the ecommerce department. You'll manage product listings, execute promotional campaigns, and help keep the online storefront fresh, accurate and commercially sharp.

What you'll be doing

• Product management – updating listings and working with ranging and supply chain teams to manage inventory


• Campaign execution – coordinating and delivering online campaigns, using trends, events and competitor insight to plan deals and promotions


• Content and merchandising – keeping banners, product descriptions and site content fresh and appealing


• Data analysis – reviewing sales and customer behaviour to spot trends and opportunities


• Sales and performance monitoring – tracking category performance and using data to inform stock decisions


• Cross-functional collaboration – working with buying teams on product selection, availability and pricing


• Channel optimisation – working with marketing to optimise traffic across email, social and affiliates, and nominating products for email selection


• Working with IT – flagging site and system opportunities or issues to the development team
