Salter Grange is presently collaborating with a highly reputable engineering construction company that specialises in constructing essential infrastructure for the future and is actively seeking a Mechanical Site Manager for a 10+ years framework in West London.

The ideal candidate will have experience on aviation and large infrastructure projects or commercial schemes from frame stage through to client handover. They must have in-depth knowledge of services and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure project delivery to programme.

This contractor is known for delivering quality infrastructure projects, particularly in the aviation, data centre, and pharmaceutical industries. They have built strong relationships with some of the biggest players in the industry, positioning them well for continued growth.

Mechanical Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Work directly with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Provide off-site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required.
• Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables.
• Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews.
• Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing, and project bid teams.
• Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, and sub-contracts.

Mechanical Site Manager Requirements:

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience managing large projects and sub-contractors.
• Experience in client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management.
• In-depth knowledge of all data center mechanical systems.
