Job Description:

Salter Grange is presently collaborating with a highly reputable engineering construction company that specialises in constructing essential infrastructure for the future and is actively seeking a Mechanical Site Manager for a 10 + years framework in West London.

The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation and large infrastructure projects or commercial schemes from the frame stage through to client handover, must have in-depth knowledge of services and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the project is delivered to programme.

This contractor is best known for their delivery of quality infrastructure projects, particularly in the aviation, data centre and pharmaceutical industry and has built strong relationships with some of the industry’s biggest players, positioning them well to continue this growth.

Mechanical Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Working directly with project teams to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
• Provide off-site technical support to construction teams on projects, with travel to sites also required.
• Develop and agree on design processes and design deliverables.
• Assist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews.
• Provide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and project bid teams.
• Lead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information, including design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc.

Mechanical Site Manager Requirements:

• Ideally, 5+ years’ previous experience managing large projects and subcontractors.
• Experience of client, vendor and contractor interaction and management.
• In-depth knowledge of all data centre mechanical systems.
