Overview

Responsible for leading a highly skilled and motivated team to build and deliver the best possible front end shopping experience across Boden's websites. Through strong collaboration with the brand, product, UX and marketing teams, you'll lead a team who deliver campaigns and experiences that meet the needs of our customers whilst delivering strong commercial performance.


Location: 3 days per week based at our North Acton Office.


What You Will Do

Website Management
  • Accountable for the 'on-time' and 'right first-time' delivery of product and campaign launches on the websites.
  • Ensure the onsite experience aligns with the requirements of key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the workflow of product and content across multiple websites, reviewing processes for accuracy, speed, and performance.
  • Share insights on content performance to enable ongoing improvements in customer experience, product discovery, basket building, and conversion rate.
  • Oversee the trading calendar and support tactical sales initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Act as a key stakeholder for platform enhancements, digital product roadmap, A/B testing strategy, and insights-led optimizations.
Customer Journey & Experience
  • Lead planning, execution, QA, and analysis of promotional and seasonal campaigns on Shopify Plus, ensuring timely delivery, commercial success, and brand standards.
  • Optimize the customer journey across all ecommerce platforms through targeted campaigns, UX improvements, and localization for international audiences.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Analytics, and Technology teams to identify and address friction points and drop-offs.
  • Implement recommendations to increase engagement, reduce bounce rates, and improve conversions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure a cohesive omnichannel experience.
  • Work with teams to grow organic traffic and improve SEO rankings, increasing visibility and revenue from non-paid channels.
  • Manage on-page SEO, site structure, and technical setup with Technology teams.
  • Optimize product details and imagery for better search performance both onsite and offsite.
  • Coordinate with SEO agencies on performance reporting, insights, and action plans.
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, and Shopify for optimization.
  • Define the roadmap for product information with the Commercial Domain Product Owners.
Leadership & Management
  • Build, retain, and develop the ecommerce team through strong leadership.
  • Create a collaborative and motivating team culture with high employee engagement.
  • Coach and develop team members' IQ and EQ skills.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong ecommerce experience, preferably in online fashion retail.
  • Excellent knowledge of product data management, content management, and ecommerce platforms.
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver high volumes of product in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with brand, marketing, product, and UX teams.
  • Management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proactive problem solver.
