The Role

We are seeking a commercially focused Senior Ecommerce and Trading Manager to lead our ecommerce function as we grow both in the UK and internationally. Reporting directly to the Digital Director, this role will take ownership of the DTC trading channel, drive sales and conversion, manage stock budgeting and forecasting, and enhance the customer experience.

Main Elements of the Role

1. Drive the ecommerce strategy in collaboration with the Digital team.
2. Ownership of the DTC channel, responsible for achieving sales targets across our 4 Shopify stores.
3. Budgeting and forecasting on an annual, monthly, and weekly basis.
4. Collaborate with merchandising to ensure optimal stock levels and forecast product performance for buying decisions.
5. Report and analyze website performance to identify growth opportunities.
6. Manage daily operations on Shopify stores, ensuring accurate and optimized product listings, trade-led VM, and navigation.
7. Own the trading and marketing calendar with the marketing team.
8. Coordinate with the wider digital team for promotional activities, collection launches, email campaigns, performance marketing, and influencer collaborations.
9. Lead website enhancements and customer journey optimizations to support conversion and increase AOV.
10. Develop and implement international strategies, including website localization.
11. Manage on-page SEO, ensuring optimal site structure and technical setup.
12. Act as the website brand guardian, maintaining a seamless brand experience.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in ecommerce trading and visual merchandising.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Background in fashion retail.
• Strong commercial acumen and numerical skills.
• Excellent reporting and presentation abilities.
• International experience, particularly with the US market.
• Understanding of creative needs within luxury fashion.
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not essential)

• Experience with luxury fashion brands.
• Experience scaling an international fashion brand.
• Experience launching localized websites with multiple languages.
• Proficiency with Data Studio, Funnel, TripleWhale tools.
