The Opportunity

We’re hiring for a Business Development Manager to drive growth across our client’s Intelligent Document Management portfolio. You’ll be focusing on organisations across the North of England and the Midlands, leveraging a broad customer base and helping businesses transform their document processes, enhance data security, and optimise workflows through cutting-edge document management and automation solutions.

This is more than a sales role, it’s a chance to help shape the future of Intelligent Document Management offerings within an ambitious, high-growth environment where your expertise and input will directly influence solution roadmaps and client outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans focused on recurring revenue within Intelligent Document Management solutions
  • Selling across a suite of technologies including Document Capture, Enterprise Content Management, Information Management, Process Automation, and related services
  • Capitalising on an extensive pool of existing customers and warm referrals while driving new business development
  • Engaging with senior IT, finance, compliance, and operational stakeholders to identify pain points and position value-driven solutions
  • Delivering impactful demonstrations, proof of concepts, and constructing compelling ROI-based business cases
  • Managing full sales cycles with disciplined forecasting, CRM hygiene, and pipeline management
  • Representing the brand at key industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities

Who You Are:

  • North of England or Midlands based
  • A proven new business sales hunter in Intelligent Document Management, Content Services, ECM, or Digital Transformation
  • Experienced in selling complex software and services to mid and large enterprise organisations
  • Confident engaging C-level stakeholders across multiple departments including IT, Finance, Operations, and Compliance
  • Commercially sharp, consultative, and solution-led with strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and ready to be part of an ambitious growth story where your input matters
  • Looking for autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to shape your own success in a specialist, high-growth environment
