Overview:
We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping data-led decisions across the business. This is a newly created role offering the chance to build something from the ground up and make it your own. You’ll work closely with the Sales Director supporting the costing process, owning monthly reporting, and driving insight across pricing, forecasting, and optimisation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
·Own and deliver monthly commercial reporting and performance analysis
·Drive insight to support decision-making across commercial, sales, and operational teams
·Support the costing process including scenario modelling and margin analysis
·Support pricing reviews and analysis to optimise revenue and profitability
·Deliver accurate forecasts and support the S&OP process with robust data and insight
·Work on business optimisation projects including product and customer rationalisation
·Define and monitor KPIs to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement
·Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning
·Develop data visualisations and dashboards using tools like Power BI
·Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to align analysis with business goals
·Present analysis and strategic recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
·A commercially minded analyst with a strong grasp of numbers and business drivers
·Sharp Excel and PowerPoint skills—Power BI, SQL or other tools a bonus
·Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools to communicate insights effectively
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets
·Proactive, detail-focused, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
·Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
·Takes initiative to identify opportunities for insight that drive commercial value
·Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex ideas simply
·Hungry to learn and develop with a clear ambition to grow
Qualifications:
·A level’s or equivalent or a degree in finance, economics, statistics, business or a related field
·1–3 years’ experience in a similar analytical or commercial finance role
·Experience in B2B, manufacturing, or FMCG environments is a plus
·Familiarity with S&OP, costing or commercial reporting is advantageous
