Commercial Analyst - UK and Ireland (Remote)

In this newly created role, you will utilize advanced analytical skills to develop tangible business intelligence that results in actionable insights to drive sales, service excellence, and profitability performance. You will implement, develop, and support business tools, templates, and solutions that enable the sales and service organization to deliver an optimal sales and service strategy.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Contributing to the development and execution of annual and quarterly Sales & Service objectives, key results, and activities that underpin the Sales & Service Growth strategy.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide sales leaders with insights for decision-making and business improvement; conducting needs analysis to understand commercial data requirements across the sales organization and updating these as required, at least annually.
  • Observing and anticipating business intelligence needs and opportunities, proactively discussing these with the Service Director, Sales Director, and sales leaders.
  • Overseeing and managing all monthly and quarterly price/volume analysis, identifying opportunities to drive price increases and/or increase value for customers.
  • Working with Sales Leaders to analyze pricing results and support sales strategies for all product areas.
  • Developing business case templates for new business opportunities, go-to-market models, and deal analysis as required.
  • Translating feedback, observations, and insights to develop and refine sales enablement systems (Gforce, Sales Toolkits, Power BI, etc.) to facilitate improved sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with customer service to analyze customer data and KPIs from Sales Force and related systems to improve customer experience.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and ISO9001 requirements.
  • Conducting all work in accordance with the WHSE Management Plan, environmental policies, health and safety policies, and relevant UKI legislation.

Knowledge/Experience:
  • Extensive experience in sales and marketing operations.
  • Experience in scoping and solving business problems.
  • Proficiency in creating financial, pricing, and market analysis reports, data dashboards, and pricing analysis.
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders and influencing key members of the SLT.
  • Ability to monitor, review, and prioritize activities effectively.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Experience in healthcare or medical device businesses is highly desirable but not essential.
Skills:
  • Root cause analysis and data analysis skills.
  • Commercial awareness and proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office, Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, and PowerPoint.
  • Confident in presenting to stakeholders and SLT.
Personal qualities:
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Organizational, prioritization, and stress management abilities.
  • Proactive, curious, team-oriented, forward-thinking, and capable of being a game changer.
Other requirements:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Valid UK driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, as required.
