Our client provides IT services supporting approximately 700 staff across 13 European, Middle Eastern, and North African country offices, with English as the transactional language.

Since migrating email functions to Office 365 (O365) in 2017, they have expanded the use of the suite to include apps like Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, OneNote, Forms, Flow, Power BI, Planner, and PowerApps, along with improved communication tools such as Skype for Business, Zoom, and unified communications.

Requirements
The Role:

Monday to Friday: The post holder is expected to work flexibly with the IT team to provide support to UK and European offices between 8 am – 6 pm GMT.

What you will do in your working day:

The role involves providing support for a range of IT issues, including installing and configuring systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults, and resolving technical application issues either in person or remotely. The candidate must be willing to learn various O365, application, and network skills to deliver excellent support and meet SLA targets.

  • Supporting users with IT queries
  • Creating Purchase Orders
  • Service Desk and general IT support
  • Cyber awareness and action
  • Contributing to the laptop replacement program rollout
  • Assisting with business system implementations
The training you will receive:
  • Online training via self-paced eLearning and live classes
  • Functional skills in English and Mathematics, if needed
Things to consider:
  • The client may change the base location based on organizational needs in consultation with employees.
  • Occasional out-of-hours work may be required.
Qualifications required:
  • GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade A*-C / 9-4) - Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics (Grade A*-C / 9-4) - Essential

  • Collaborate with country office support staff to find solutions to IT problems
  • Guide staff/clients through actions remotely or face-to-face
  • Document work for IT projects under guidance
  • Build good relationships with staff, external users, and third-party organizations
  • Support the rollout of new applications and create procedural documentation
  • Train and educate end-users on O365 tools
  • Record work details and outcomes in the ticketing system
  • Provide inductions and orientation on applications/services to new staff
  • Proactively manage projects with CIUK and country offices
  • Create procedures to enhance O365 skills within the business
  • Promote IT support services internally through communications about features, help, and service status
