Amazon is seeking a motivated individual for a technical role in Data Center Operations. You will troubleshoot hardware issues, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to maintaining a high-density computing infrastructure. You will work with the world’s largest computing infrastructure, gaining experience in daily data center operations. Your responsibilities include hands-on troubleshooting of servers and network equipment, often independently from your team.
You will collaborate with various teams such as logistics, networking, security, and others to accomplish tasks. Each day presents different challenges, involving coordination with multiple teams (DC operations, DC Engineering, Logistics, Security, Projects, etc.).
Our Data Center Operations team designs, installs, and maintains large-scale computing infrastructure. Your scope includes systems repair, issue resolution, parts handling, and assisting in data center maintenance. Amazon Data Centers are high-density centers where you will contribute to technological advancements in the region.
This role requires a 12-month contract commitment, with coaching and periodic assessments to develop your skills. Successful completion may lead to a full-time position with Amazon. For more information, visit http://infrastructure.aws.
