You'll be central to managing and enhancing enterprise-grade VoIP and Unified Communications infrastructure in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a fully on-site role based in Stevenage, and you MUST be eligible for SC clearance and have advanced Cisco Unified Communications experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Years of hands-on experience with VoIP systems, PBX, and Unified Communications platforms like Cisco.
In-depth knowledge of SIP, H.323, and other protocols, with a knack for troubleshooting complex call quality and connectivity issues.
A strong foundation in networking, including QoS, VLANs, DNS, and firewalls, with a focus on VoIP traffic.
What You'll Do:
Resolve Level 2 and 3 incidents across telephony and video conferencing environments
Respond to hardware and software application requests
Participate in and lead Unified Communications and video conferencing projects
Support operational teams on an ad hoc basis
Maintain and optimise telephony and video infrastructure (MCO)
Lead and mentor local team members, encouraging knowledge sharing
What You'll Bring:
Eligibility for SC Clearance (you must have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years)
Expertise in Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx), Webex, and video conferencing solutions (TMS, Pexip)
Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSAN
Familiarity with Kurmi, Telsica, and PeterConnects ecosystems
Understanding of SIP/H323 protocols, WAN/LAN, security, and systems administration
Proven people management and team leadership skills
Candidates need to be SC eligible and sole UK National.
