Job summary
Randstad Construction and Property in Exeter seeks an EC&I Technician to maintain instrumentation, electrical, and control systems across the site, ensuring safety, reliability and performance. This role covers planned and reactive maintenance, calibration, asset logging in CMMS, and collaboration with operations.

Qualifications
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience with control & instrumentation in process/industrial environments.
- Experience with DCS and/or SCADA systems.
- Experience using CMMS for logging and work orders.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.
- Manage calibration programs and maintain records with instrument loop drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Conduct plant and safety inspections; maintain asset logging in CMMS; hit KPIs for reliability and environmental targets.
- Adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures; support contractor supervision.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve plant performance and reliability.
