We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administration Assistant to join our team.

As a Business Assistant, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the multidisciplinary team within an admin team. You will be joining a welcoming team who work well together and support each other.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)

The successful candidate will possess excellent IT and audio-typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills, good numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner. You should be able to work positively and proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams.

As a Business Assistant, you will attend meetings, take minutes/notes, circulate documentation, identify actions, and ensure they are logged, prioritized, and followed up.

You will plan and organize training, appointments, and events, including coordinating travel arrangements and guest speakers.

You will undertake diary management for yourself and others, communicate effectively via email, and implement a flagging/prioritization system.

You will create and format professional communications such as letters, leaflets, presentations, reports, and briefings to a high standard.

You will order goods or services, monitor order progress, check receipt of goods/services to reconcile invoices, and handle complaints, using your initiative to solve problems and escalate when necessary.

You will manage patient monies and petty cash, perform banking, order monies, balance monthly accounts, and check and invoice travel dockets.
