Description

We are seeking an Early Talent Attraction Assistant to join the Claims Solutions Group Talent Attraction team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role supports the growth of our Early Talent strategy and is ideal for HR or Recruitment Administrators passionate about early talent attraction, seeking to advance their careers.

The role involves providing efficient recruitment services to stakeholders, external candidates, and internal colleagues for Early Talent opportunities (Apprenticeships, Paralegals, and Claims Handlers). You will support the Early Talent Attraction Advisor in coordinating recruitment processes and assisting with the onboarding of successful candidates. You will also be a key contact for early talent inquiries.

Who you’ll be working with

You will be an integral part of the CSG Talent Attraction team, which provides evolving Early Talent services. The role involves engaging with assessment centers, career fairs, schools, colleges, and universities across the UK. While the role is based in Birmingham or Newport, remote work is supported, with travel to these locations as needed.

What you will do
  1. Support recruitment activities for Paralegal, Claims Handling, and Apprentice vacancies.
  2. Assist with trainee recruitment in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  3. Coordinate assessment days, including planning, candidate reception, and overseeing activities.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, recruitment advisors, HRBP's, and the HR team.
  5. Engage with colleges, schools, and universities, aligning with our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy, and coordinate open days and career fairs.
  6. Manage queries from prospective candidates and colleagues regarding early talent opportunities.
  7. Support ad hoc projects and onboarding activities.
Who you are
  • Experience in HR or Recruitment is beneficial.
  • Enthusiastic about early talent attraction, with experience in education careers services or similar areas preferred.
  • Committed to providing a positive candidate experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and handle deadlines calmly.
