Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust is seeking a reliable Cleaner for Easterside Academy in Middlesbrough. The role covers cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and shared areas to maintain a safe, hygienic environment for pupils and staff.

Working hours are 12 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, with a start date of 9 November 2026. Applications close 2 November 2026; DBS checks apply.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our school team. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Duties will include cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and shared areas, as well as ensuring cleaning supplies are used and stored safely. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the smooth running of the school and creating a welcoming environment for learning.

What we are looking for

• Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Is able to follow health and safety procedures
• Can work effectively as part of a team
• Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
