Job summary

ARETE LEARNING TRUST's Nunthorpe School & Sixth Form is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to join the facilities team in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough. The role is part-time, 12 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks), with an after-school shift from 3:00pm to 5:30pm (Mon-Thu) and 3:00pm-5:00pm (Fri).

You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service, handling cleaning equipment and chemicals with protective clothing provided, and work under the Cleaning Supervisor/Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning in school or public facilities is preferred.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality cleaning service to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Use cleaning equipment and products with protective clothing provided.
• Work 12 hours per week during term time, with shifts as outlined.

About this Role

This role will provide a high quality, effective cleaning service to ensure a clean and hygienic environment. The post is required to work with cleaning equipment and products which contain chemicals, but the necessary protective clothing will be provided.
