Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover for in-house staff absences during nursery hours 8:30am–3:30pm.
• Support children throughout the nursery day in a safe, engaging environment.
• Contribute to children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery based within a mainstream primary school in Hereford. The nursery provides educational care for children aged 2 to 4 years, supporting their learning and development within a positive Early Years environment.

The school is looking for a flexible Nursery Practitioner to provide cover as and when required for in-house staff absences, working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children throughout the nursery day, helping to provide a safe, engaging and supportive environment while contributing to their learning and development.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare - please note this qualification is a requirement to apply for this role
• Experience working with children aged 2 to 4 years
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
• Reliability and flexibility to provide cover when required
• The ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team
