This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional looking for either part-time or full‑time work, with the flexibility to find a working pattern that suits you.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in Early Years/Childcare as listed.
• Experience or qualification in working with children aged 0-5 is beneficial.
• Ability to follow safeguarding policies and contribute to a positive nursery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Work as part of a supportive Early Years team to create a safe and engaging environment.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures.

Education

Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education

NCFE CACHE Level 3 Childcare qualifications

Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education

Nursery Practitioner - Braintree

TeacherActive is working with an amazing local nursery in the Braintree area who are looking to strengthen their team with enthusiastic and committed Nursery Practitioners.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional looking for either part-time or full‑time work, with the flexibility to find a working pattern that suits you.

The nursery is looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners who are passionate about working with children and able to contribute positively to the nursery environment.

The role

• Part-time or full‑time hours available
• Minimum pay rate of £14.25 per hour, with the opportunity to increase depending on qualifications and experience
• Immediate starts available
• Candidates currently working a notice period can also be considered
• Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
• Working as part of a supportive Early Years team
• Creating a safe, engaging and positive environment for children
• Following safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures

Suitable qualifications include

• Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
• NCFE CACHE Level 3 Childcare qualifications
• Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education
• Other recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualifications may also be considered

If you are not currently qualified, you may still be considered if you have relevant nursery or Early Years experience. This could include previous experience working as a Nursery Assistant, Early Years Assistant, Playworker, Teaching Assistant, Childcare Assistant or in another role where you have worked directly with young children.

Experience working with children aged 0-5 is particularly beneficial, although relevant experience with children in other educational or childcare settings may also be considered.
