Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is excited to support a Manchester-based nursery in appointing a dedicated Nursery Room Leader. You will oversee daily operations in your assigned room, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development for children aged 0-5.

You will mentor colleagues, promote safe, nurturing environments and deliver engaging EYFS activities. A NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and strong leadership skills are essential; safeguarding is a priority.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development and EYFS.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day running of your room to high standards.
• Support and mentor colleagues and ensure safe, caring environment.
• Promote learning through EYFS activities and play.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
