Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners for full-time and part-time supply roles across nurseries in Dagenham and surrounding areas. You’ll support learning through play, help deliver the EYFS curriculum, and adapt to different settings.

Ideal candidates have Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years, experience in nurseries, strong communication, and a caring, patient approach. DBS Update Service preferred or willingness to obtain one; PAYE weekly salary with

Early Years Practitioner – Full-time and part-time supply roles available from ASAP

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different nursery and early years settings. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Practitioners to work across settings in Dagenham and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Early Years Practitioner:

• Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
• Assist in planning and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support individual needs
• Observe and record children’s progress and contribute to planning

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
• Experience working in nursery or early years settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
