Step Teachers Ltd. is seeking Early Years Practitioners for daily supply roles in Tower Hamlets and surrounding areas. You will support nurseries and early years provisions with EYFS activities and observations, and adapt to various settings.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications, have EYFS knowledge and DBS clearance, and can work across multiple schools on a flexible basis. Weekly PAYE payments are provided, with access to wellbeing and worker benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience with 0–5 age group in nursery/early years settings.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and understanding of child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work across multiple schools.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Early Years Practitioners – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working on a daily supply basis in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas, supporting nurseries and early years provisions as needed.

Duties as Early Years Practitioner:

• Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
• Follow EYFS framework and contribute to planning and observations
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
• Work collaboratively with staff to meet individual needs
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures
• Adapt to different settings and routines with confidence and professionalism

Ideal Early Years Practitioner:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working with children aged 0–5 in nursery or early years settings
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, flexible, and confident working across multiple schools
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
