Step Teachers Ltd are recruiting for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner at a growing primary school catering for children aged 2–11. This full-time, long-term opportunity offers an immediate start and a supportive, nurturing learning environment.

You will work within the EYFS framework, plan and deliver engaging activities, observe progress, and support safeguarding and welfare while collaborating with teachers, colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support children within the EYFS setting in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress and achievements.
  • Foster children's personal, social, emotional, and educational development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers, colleagues and parents to support individual needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times.

Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Duties as Level 3 Early Years Practitioner:
  • Support children within the Early Years setting in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress and achievements
  • Foster children's personal, social, emotional, and educational development
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers, colleagues, and parents to support individual needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
  • Ensure safeguarding and welfare standards are maintained at all times
Ideal Level 3 Early Years Practitioner:
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework
  • Knowledge of child development and early learning practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
