Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work within welcoming early years settings. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children's learning, development and wellbeing during their crucial early years.

You will work Monday to Friday to support learning through play, observe progress, and help with personal care as required in line with EYFS guidelines. DBS Update Service preferred and Level 2/3 qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursery/preschool settings preferred.
• EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply for one.

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to work within welcoming early years settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children's learning, development, and wellbeing during their crucial early years.

We are looking for nurturing professionals who can help create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can thrive and achieve their developmental milestones.

The Role

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
• Create a safe, caring, and inclusive environment
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and communication development
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
• Support children's personal care needs where required
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)
• Have previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
• Have a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Are caring, patient, and passionate about early childhood development
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Are committed to creating positive learning experiences for young children
• Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one
