Job summary

Advanced Learning Partnership is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a full-time, temporary role in Spennymoor. The post involves supporting the Nursery, helping create a calm, nurturing space, and working 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Candidates should have a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification and experience with primary pupils, including SEND. The position is based in the Spennymoor area with good transport links.

Qualifications

• A minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• An ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery across all rooms and help create a calm, nurturing space for children.
• Cover Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, in the Spennymoor area.
• Contribute to the progress and wellbeing of primary-aged pupils in a team setting.

£462.80 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

On behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Early Years Practitioner to work 5 days a week at a lovely school in the Spennymoor area. Workingas part of an established team, the Early Years Pracitioner will be supporting across the Nursery unit in all rooms. You would be helping create a calm, nurturing space where children feel safe, secure and ready to explore. The role would be every Monday to Friday to cover 8.30am - 3.30pm. Experience working within Early Years would be essential, as well as a minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
