Job summary

TeacherActive are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join nurseries in Salford on a part-time, ASAP-start basis.

You will support children aged 0-5 with learning, development and well-being, working closely with the nursery team. The role offers pay of £12.17–£16 per hour and opportunities for CPD through the My-Progression channel.

Experience with Level 2/3 childcare and a nurturing approach are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Years Practitioner with Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification.
• Experience in a childcare or Early Years setting is desirable.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and well-being for ages 0-5.
• Engage positively with children and work pro-actively with the nursery team.
• Follow safeguarding practices and DBS compliance as part of the role.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with nurseries across Salford who are looking for qualified Early Years Practitioners to join their teams. The settings provide welcoming and nurturing environments where children aged 0-5 can learn, develop and thrive.

We are looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to work on a part-time basis with an ASAP start. The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children's learning, development and well-being, while engaging positively with children and working pro-actively alongside the wider nursery team.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a childcare or Early Years setting
• A nurturing and understanding approach to working with children aged 0-5
• A proactive approach and willingness to get involved
• Strong communication skills and a confident, talkative manner
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
