Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a nursery in Newcastle on a long-term, temporary basis. You will support learning through play for children aged 0-5, following EYFS guidelines and maintaining safeguarding standards.

You should hold a Level 3 EY qualification, have experience with 0-5s, and bring a caring, adaptable, can-do attitude. PAYE payments with a daily rate of £95–£110 are offered, with dedicated consultant support throughout the onboarding process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support learning through play and EYFS activities.

• Work long-term at a Newcastle nursery through TeacherActive.

The nursery is looking to take on an Early Years Practitioner on a long-term basis. The successful Early Years Practitioner will support learning through play and EYFS activities, while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, supporting personal care and helping to provide a safe and engaging environment for all children.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A good understanding of safeguarding
• A ‘can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in
• A caring, reliable and adaptable approach
