Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Day Nursery in Newcastle upon Tyne to appoint an experienced Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, have experience with young children, and possess a good understanding of the EYFS.

The setting provides a caring and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, develop and build their confidence through engaging early years experiences.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis, working primarily with children aged 3-4 years. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be expected to create inspiring learning environments, support children's development and provide consistently high standards of care.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience of working with young children
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• Ability to create inspiring and engaging learning environments
• A caring, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
