Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a private day nursery in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, caring environment.

You will work across the nursery, plan and deliver engaging activities, support communication and language skills and help children reach key milestones. Immediate start and long-term potential.

Qualifications

Pay: £14 £15 per hour

TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a fantastic private day nursery in Newcastle upon Tyne.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive nursery team that is passionate about creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

You'll work across the nursery, supporting children's individual needs and creating exciting opportunities for them to learn, develop and build their confidence.

This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right Early Years Practitioner.

What will you be doing?

You ll work closely with an experienced nursery team to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.

You ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children's achievements along the way.

You ll support children at different stages of their Early Years journey and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure their individual needs are met.

What are we looking for?

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and have fun
• A warm, caring and positive personality
• Plenty of enthusiasm, creativity and energy
• A flexible, proactive and can-do attitude
• The ability to work confidently as part of a team
