Job summary

Education World Ltd is seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners for flexible work across the North East, including Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland. Roles range from day-to-day nursery shifts to longer placements, with opportunities to gain experience across various nursery settings.

You will support the care, learning and development of 0-5s, deliver EYFS-aligned activities, and foster safe, nurturing environments while collaborating with nursery teams and engaging with children

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification is essential.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5.

Responsibilities

  • Support the care, learning and development of children aged 0-5.

  • Encourage children's independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and wider staff teams.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Support daily routines and personal care where required.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

As an Early Years Practitioner, you may be responsible for:

  • Supporting the care, learning, and development of children aged 0-5.
