Job summary

CLARUS EDUCATION in Hayes is seeking a Lecturer/Assessor to train and assess Work Based Learning (WBL) learners, including Apprentices, to determine their occupational competencies within the workplace.

You will also teach on Level 2–3 qualifications in the Early Years sector and monitor learners' progress across their study programmes. A Level 3 NVQ/VRQ in Early Years/TA, an assessor qualification and a Level 5 FE teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain) are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/VRQ qualification in Early Years/Teaching Assistant (preferably a degree in the relevant subject)
• Assessor qualification (L3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent)
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, or willingness and ability to obtain qualification, supported by the College
• Teaching and assessing experience in Early Years
• Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience of working in Early Years, both Education and Care
