Job summary

NVQ Assessor is recruiting a Teaching Assistant and Early Years Tutor / Assessor to join their expanding training team, delivering Apprenticeships in Teaching Assistant and Early Years standards at Levels 2 & 3. The role is home-based with travel in the South East London/Kent area (A2 corridor) to see learners monthly.

You will assess, observe and support learners, use the Onefile e-portfolio, and manage your diary to ensure timely visits and robust evidence collection.

Qualifications

• L3 Early Years / Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• A1/TAQA/CAVA or equivalent assessing qualification is expected.
• L3 Teaching qualification is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Early Years and Teaching Assistant Apprenticeships up to level 3.
• Conduct study groups and 1-1 sessions with learners.
• Record professional discussions and evidence.
• Visit/observe learners every 4 weeks to gather evidence.
• Use Onefile effectively to record progress.
