Job summary

Coventry City Council is seeking an Early Learning Lead for Grange Farm Primary School to join the Leadership Team from January 2027. You will lead and develop the Early Years curriculum in Reception, model teaching excellence, and drive educational progress for all children in the phase.

You will ensure smooth progression into Key Stage 1, working closely with KS1 and Year 1 staff, while maintaining a clear focus on improving outcomes and sustaining high-quality teaching across the phase.

Qualifications

• Leadership in Early Years
• Strong curriculum development experience in Reception/KS1
• Proven track record of raising achievement in Early Years

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Reception curriculum and teaching.
• Ensure strong foundations in Reception carry into Key Stage 1.
