Job summary

Ide Primary School is seeking an exceptional early years professional to lead and develop our nursery provision, valuing the role of play in learning and the relationships learners form. You may come from Nursery, EYFS-qualified practitioner, HLTA or TA with strong EYFS experience, and you will work to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children thrive.

The foundations built in the early years shape lifelong learning; you will build language, communication, and early maths foundations,

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our nursery provision.
• Create a high-quality, play-based EYFS environment.
• Support strong foundations in language, communication, phonics and early mathematics.
• Monitor children's development and plan meaningful next steps.
• Work closely with families and support children's transition into Reception.
• Ensure high standards of safeguarding and statutory compliance.
• Contribute to breakfast and after-school provision, with arrangements agreed flexibly wherever possible.

You might be an experienced Nursery or Room Leader, EYFSteacher, EYFS-qualified practitioner, HLTA or TA with strong early yearsexperience, or another suitably qualified professional ready to take their nextstep.
