Job summary

Lakehouse Nursery in Portishead is offering an Early Years Educator Apprentice position. You will be trained on the job, paired with a buddy, and work towards becoming a key person for the children in your care.

You will attend training days with Realise, complete Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator, and develop practical skills in planning, safeguarding, and inclusive practice during a 14-month apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and regulatory requirements
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Passionate about learning and developing into a new role

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in providing high standard of care and education
• Contribute ideas to planning for high-quality learning
• Liaise with nursery staff regarding children's needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment
• Adhere to nursery policies and procedures
• Meet health and safety requirements
