Job summary

Brimpton House Nursery offers an Early Years Educator Apprentice position supported by Realise Training. You will be trained on the job with a buddy, working toward the role of a key person within the nursery.

You will attend training days with Realise and spend the other days at your allocated nursery, contributing to high standards of care and child development. The 14-month programme includes 20% off-the-job learning and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for communication with staff, children and parents.
• Passion for learning and developing in a day nursery setting.
• Knowledge of the statutory EYFS framework and regulatory requirements (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist team in providing high standards of care and education for children.
• Contribute ideas to planning to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Liaise with nursery staff regarding children's needs and requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and follow nursery policies.
