Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting Supply Nursery Practitioners in Wisbech and surrounding areas to provide flexible day-to-day support in local nurseries. You can choose shifts from early morning to late afternoon, with the ability to work a couple of days or full weeks.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ/CACHE/NCFE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and have solid EYFS knowledge, plus an Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one. This role offers great flexibility and variety across local settings.

Qualifications

• NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and UK safeguarding procedures.
• DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Adaptability to work across different nurseries and settings.

Responsibilities

• Flexible classroom support across different early years settings, backing the nursery team.
• Lead play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework for children.
• Support meal times, outdoor play, hygiene, and child safety.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, no two days are the same! Your tasks will include:

• High Standards of Care: Assisting with meal times, outdoor play, hygiene routines, and keeping children safe and engaged.
