Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking Level 2/3 qualified Early Years Practitioners for adaptable day-to-day supply work in top local nurseries across the area. Flexible shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM can be arranged to suit your availability, with complete choice over how often you work.

You will support nurseries with EYFS-based activities, safeguarding, meal times, outdoor play and maintaining a safe, engaging environment for children, while building a responsive relationship with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and UK safeguarding procedures.
• Flexibility to work across different nurseries and settings.
• DBS check on Update Service or willingness to apply.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Supply Nursery Practitioner, no two days are the same! Your tasks will include:

• Flexible Classroom Support: Stepping into different early years settings and seamlessly supporting the permanent nursery team.
• Engaging Children: Leading fun, play-based educational activities based on the EYFS framework.
• High Standards of Care: Assisting with meal times, outdoor play, hygiene routines, and keeping children safe and engaged.
• Safeguarding: Maintaining strict adherence to safeguarding, health, and safety regulations at every nursery you visit.

Requirements & Qualifications
