Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking Level 2/3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to support high-performing nurseries across the Peterborough region on a day-to-day basis.

Whether you want full 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts five days a week, or just a couple of days to fit around your lifestyle, supply work puts you in complete control of your schedule.

Qualifications

• Qualified: NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and UK safeguarding procedures.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Flexible Classroom Support: stepping into different early years settings and supporting the permanent nursery team.
• Engaging Children: leading play-based educational activities based on EYFS.
• High Standards of Care: assisting with meal times, outdoor play, hygiene routines, and safeguarding.
• Safeguarding: maintaining strict adherence to safeguarding, health, and safety regulations at every nursery you visit.
• Building rapport with nursery staff, children, and parents.
