Job summary

Partou’s apprenticeship programme offers a valuable route to train as an Early Years Practitioner while earning a wage. The Realise Training delivered programme supports on-the-job training and a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship, with 20% off-the-job learning integrated into the working day.

The role includes observing experienced practitioners, planning and maintaining records, and learning safeguarding policies as part of a caring team environment in Leeds.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five - desirable

Responsibilities

• Planning and maintaining children’s records.
• Understanding safeguarding policies and health, safety, cleanliness and wellbeing of children.
• Support and mentorship from qualified staff throughout the apprenticeship.
• Plan and deliver activities in line with EYFS.
• Build relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
