Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking Online Assistants in our stores to pick and prepare online orders for home delivery or convenient substitutions when items are out of stock. You’ll use a handheld device to plan routes, manage order accuracy and speed, and support customers both on the shop floor and behind the scenes.

Shifts often start early, around 4am, and require strong teamwork, initiative, and a proactive approach to help customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or over for shifts that start early
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and on your own or as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare quality products for online orders to be delivered or substituted if out of stock
• Use a handheld device to plan routes and manage order picking within time targets
• Assist with customer queries, process orders, and help load vans for Home Delivery Drivers
