Job Description
Purpose
Lead the Commercial team to deliver the Society’s ambitious growth plans and strategic objectives. Oversee all mortgage and savings sales & marketing activities, including product development, management, distribution strategy, and influencing the entire mortgage proposition through lending policy design and service delivery. Develop strategic marketing plans focused on new member acquisition, retention, and referrals, based on a defined customer experience and aligned with commercial targets. Challenge operational processes to address gaps in the member experience across all delivery channels.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
Motivated by growth, passionate about delivering excellent member outcomes, and capable of leading a dedicated team. Experience in regulated UK financial services, leading savings and/or mortgage divisions. Demonstrates strong leadership, with responsibility for consumer duty and regulatory understanding. Proven track record in launching new products, managing projects, and building internal and external networks. Comfortable with emerging business technologies and data analysis to inform decisions. Strong relationships with intermediaries are advantageous.
