Randstad Student Support is recruiting for a Specialist Mentor for Mental Health to work with autistic students studying at universities and colleges.
The role begins at the start of the new academic year and is a hybrid position. All successful candidates must be able to travel to the local university or college and provide both in-person and online sessions flexibly to accommodate student preferences.
As a Specialist Mentor, you will act as a trusted advisor for students. You will support students throughout the academic year, helping them reflect on their experiences and introducing strategies to overcome barriers.
It is important to consider each student's needs individually and address any concerns promptly. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times, sharing relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best support for students.
You must hold membership with one of the following professional bodies, and all students supported are funded by the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), requiring adherence to the DfE qualification framework:
