Job Purpose

To support a friendly, inquisitive young girl with autism, associated learning difficulties, and other healthcare needs, in attending holiday camp and sporting activities.

Location

Norwich NR4.

Details

My daughter is a happy, energetic girl on the autistic spectrum. She can communicate and hold simple conversations but prefers a quiet, calm environment due to noise sensitivities. You will support arts and crafts, accompany her to the swimming pool (assisting with getting in), bouncy castle, and other fun activities. If she joins other children for activities, your role is to support her.

Hours

Monday to Friday during summer holidays, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Flexible days are considered; if you can only work 2-3 days, please specify this in your application.

Person specification

Below are the essential and desirable skills, competencies, and qualities. These will be assessed during application and interview.

  • Car owner/driver with full UK driving license and appropriate insurance or willingness to obtain this.

  • Pay rate: £12.38 per hour.
  • Reimbursement for agreed expenses.
  • Holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 weeks of work based on annual hours.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with flexible days if needed.
Additional requirements
  • Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer).
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, including current or last employer.
  • Completion of a 6-month probationary period.
