Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales or account management, particularly within the freight or logistics industry.
- Road Freight Knowledge: Understanding of international road freight processes, customs regulations, and transportation systems is a bonus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities, both verbally and in writing.
- Organisational Skills: Strong time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive work culture.
- Driven & Motivated: Passionate about sales and eager to grow your skillset.
- Qualifications: GCSE Grade 3 or above in English and Maths.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify sales opportunities by researching and targeting new clients within various industries, offering tailored road transport solutions for their logistics needs.
- Conduct engaging online meetings and phone calls with potential clients, presenting customised solutions and closing deals.
- Proactively develop a pipeline of new clients in key regions, focusing on cross-border freight services.
- Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional post-sales support to ensure repeat business and satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and revenue in our CRM system to track progress and success.
