Business Development Manager - Home/Field-based – Essex / Home Counties

Up to £41,000 + uncapped bonus potential, company car or travel allowance, & home-based contract

What you’ll be doing:

1. Identify, pursue, and secure new independent business opportunities while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
2. Build strong connections with independent players in the local food market, leveraging your curiosity about food.
3. Create tailored culinary proposals to help our customers save time and money.
4. Drive growth by achieving profit targets and being rewarded for your success.
5. Onboard new clients professionally, ensuring they feel valued and supported by your Area Sales Manager.
6. Monitor market trends and competitors to offer the most relevant solutions and insights.

What we are looking for:

Ideally, candidates will have a background in Field Sales, but this is not essential.

We seek individuals with a commercial mindset, driven and ambitious to impact the business positively by meeting targets.

Confidence in being out in the field and a customer-focused approach are crucial.

We provide a comprehensive induction program to train you on our products and business, so experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
