The Education Division’s Interim Provision Service (IPS) are seeking to recruit highly experienced and dynamic Learning Mentors to join this exciting team within Children’s Services. We are looking for Learning Mentors for the Hastings, Rother and Rye areas.
There are two term time only positions available; one permanent, and one fixed term for one year.
Salary pro rata for TTO is approximately £22,293 per annum
As a Learning Mentor you will be working with children and young people that have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), you will have the chance to give them the confidence and opportunity to progress in life. Your skills and knowledge will play a key part in shaping their future.
You will undertake responsibilities in supporting children and young people with transition support and targeted interventions. You will be a highly effective learning mentor who is committed in supporting children and young people whilst they are awaiting a school placement. The role will require you to have effective communication skills and an ability to work successfully with a wide range of people. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has the skills to support service improvement and development.
