Job description

Job Title: Learning Mentor

Are you passionate about supporting pupils and making a difference in their lives? Join us at Grange Park School during an exciting period of development.

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to work either part-time or full-time, helping create a stimulating learning environment that promotes the best progress and attainment for all pupils/students.

Positions are available at our Medway college site with a salary of Kent Range 4 plus a Special Needs Allowance. A full job description and person specification are attached.

Grange Park School is an autism-specific provision for children aged 11 to 19 in Wrotham and for children aged 9-11 in Stansted village, 3 miles from the main site.

Currently rated as “good” by Ofsted, we aim to become outstanding. We are committed to providing excellent learning opportunities and supporting pupils' development.

As part of KSENT, a collaboration of 24 special schools in Kent, we offer extensive training, shared practices, and career progression opportunities through initiatives like CLASS, the Collaborative Learning Alliance.

We provide comprehensive autism training, exceptional CPD support, and development opportunities via our Co-operative Trust of SEN schools.

The successful candidate will embrace our school's ethos and contribute to its next exciting phase and beyond.
